If he wants to stay in a fishing cabin and she wants to stay in a boutique hotel...this is the perfect compromise. The Dogwood Hot Tub Suite is a two room suite with a nautical theme. This room overlooks our private pond. Catch and release fishing is allowed for guests in this room. Close to all the shops in Little Nashville, the Dogwood room has a royal spa hot tub, private bathroom, king size bed, electric fireplace, and semi-private back balcony, located on the "pond" side of the building. Better than a bed & breakfast... The room has a TV, VCR with movies, coffee maker and mini-fridge. Muffins, biscotti, coffee & tea are provided for your romantic breakfast in bed before or after the fish start biting. You will need to bring your own fishing poles. Where the fish are biting in southern Indiana? Lake Monroe Reservoir, Yellowwood Lake, Lake Lemon, Jackson Creek, Salt Creek, Ogle Lake in Brown County State Park. Bait and equipment available down the road at Knights's Corner. Lake Monroe is a 10,750 acre flood control reservoir located in Brown and Monroe counties southwest of Abbey-Inn. It is the largest lake in the state with recreational activities such as boating and fishing. Fishing consists primarily of largemouth bass and panfish, such as bluegill and yellow perch. Other angling opportunities include white crappie, hybrid striped bass and yellow perch, as well as channel and flathead catfish. Lake Monroe has also become one of the best walleye fisheries in Indiana. The Dogwood Room at Abbey-Inn, Brown County Indiana, is close to the best fishing in Indiana.
