The Dogwood Room is at the back of the Inn and looks out over our wedding gazebo and pond adjacent to Brown County State Park. Enjoy the wildflower walk around the pond and our moon garden. Guests in this room have access to catch & release fishing in our private fishing hole. Don't forget your fishing pole.

Lake Monroe Reservoir, Yellowwood Lake, Lake Lemon, Jackson Creek, Salt Creek, Ogle Lake in Brown County State Park. Bait and equipment available down the road at Knights's Corner.

Lake Monroe is a 10,750 acre flood control reservoir located in Brown and Monroe counties southwest of Abbey-Inn. It is the largest lake in the state with recreational activities such as boating and fishing. Fishing consists primarily of largemouth bass and panfish, such as bluegill and yellow perch. Other angling opportunities include white crappie, hybrid striped bass and yellow perch, as well as channel and flathead catfish. Lake Monroe has also become one of the best walleye fisheries in Indiana.
